Trade Rules

Pokémon Trade Forum Rules:

Use individual trade threads to offer up your wares.

• ALL IVs / nature / ability / gender / special moves / etc.
  
• if you do not know the IVs or EVs, list the stats and characteristic, specify if it is UT or not.
  
• basically any and all relevent information MUST be listed.
  
• do NOT trade someone else's pokémon without thier consent.
  
• if someone is trading any pokemon not obtained by himself or herself, he or she MUST state so.
  

Trade threads should include an offer list and want list.
This is more of a guideline than a rule, but many threads falling into this
criterium may be moved to the Small Trade Thread. At the very least,
they require some structure or theme.</blockquote> Do not create more than one trade post. Simply edit your original thread.Duplicate threads will be merged, locked, or deleted.

NOTIFY A MODERATOR BEFOREHAND IF YOU WISH TO CREATE A NEW THREAD.
Do not bump your own trade thread unless you have made a significant update.

Do not advertise your own trade thread in other threads in the trade forum.

Do not bump old trade threads.

Giveaways

• ALL relevent information must be listed for giveaways.
  
• questions must be something researchable. no "what's in my pocket
  right now?" questions that may or may not ever get answered correctly.
  
• giveaway threads do not count towards you trade thread total, but
  you may only have one active giveaway at a time (meaning you can only
  have one of each at a time).
  
• for giveaways involving quizzes, the answers must be posted
  publicly after the giveaway is over, BEFORE the winners are announced
  in case there is a descrepency
  
• when a giveaway is completed, the person hosting the giveaway must notify a mod that he or she is done and it will be deleted
  

Do not double post, chat, or spam. Take it to profile comments or edit your original post please.

This also includes posts such as "hey what do you want for x pokémon?"
and posting in trade threads asking if anyone wants something that
you're trading. Use the Small Trade Thread please.
ABSOLUTELY NO HACKS OF ANY KIND. PERIOD.
We mean it. Anyone caught trading hacks will be blacklisted.
This includes talking about ROMs, cheating devices, tips on how
to hack pokémon, or requesting / offering hacked pokémon.</blockquote>
