Kalyx wandered all over the city as Golem held up Ren and his two Pokemon. It became obvious to all there that they would have to defeat him if they wanted to find Kalyx in peace without running from a enraged Pokemon.

Ren sent out spiritomb and a few well places Dark pulses knocked the golwm out at last "Shadow find Kalyx we need to get her before someone else does" He said Shadow nodded before picking up the girl sent and ran off into a sprint knowing ren could easily follow.

"NO!" She rolled off the wolf's back and ended up still just crying on the ground. She couldn't just leave her first partner, NO WAY could she think about leaving the town without Larvitar. She'd never be able to forgive herself, she'd never be able to face Tyranitar. She always took the best care of Larvitar as an egg, she used her arm to wipe her face as new tears flowed, and now she failed.

Ren scooped her up "Chibi, CHibi listen tome we WILL find him we'll get him back but right now a lot of bad people want to hurt us so we need to run okay?"

She thought Larvitar got caught because he was leaving because she did something wrong.

Ren smiled softly "Me and your daddy are tracking the bad guys if we find them we;ll find Larvitar I promise...and Larvitar didnt leave the bad guys took him awya they POKENAPPED him you understand? Its nothing you did"

Y-Y-You pr-promise?" she still was crying softly but she was trying hard to get her tears off her face as she wiped them off.

"N-n-noooooooooo!" she whined as she buried her face miserably into his shoulder, very reluctantly agreeing to leave without finding her partner first. As a kid she wasn't keen to practice patience PERIOD especially over a situation such as this.

She really just wanted to get her Pokemon back, she had so many others with her but having an empty hole on her team felt strange, felt wrong.

"Your mom and dad should be done VEREY soon, theres no better a tag ten than those two" Ren said softly "COme on lets get to the Pokemon centre, we'll wait for them there"

Once Kalyx got there she sighed and immediately when to contact the Professor. Her first instinct was to place all her Pokemon into the care of the Professor so they couldn't go away like Larivtar but in the end she knew her life would be so empty without them all. She ended up simply resolving to withdraw another to avoid the small pain in her heart at filling Larvitar's place. She knew her attacker would become Sneasel and she wouldn't get her badges until she got Larvitar back.

The question was who should she withdraw. She left Spiritomb and Stunky but she also had Houndour and Drifloon who were with Professor Maple too.

Definitely NOT Spiritomb, it was just too hard to control. Stunky wasn't a "bad" Pokemon but..., "I think I'll take Drifloon, Professor Maple."

She then just left not even waiting for the new Pokeball to arrive.

Professor Maple looked at Ren through the video call monitor, "What was that about?"

She asked in confusion to Ren with a worried tone.

"Her Lavatar got pokemnapped by Team tranqua....she;s taking it pretty hard...but not as much as Reoxs Tyranitar is going to take it...that Larviatar was its baby its fgoing to be furious" Ren explained.

"Them again? I don't want to see what a Tyranitar's Outrage is going to look like, I never have and I never want to. Do see that in a populated area you keep it in control - a lot of people can be hurt. By the way, on another note I have a courier with something for you once you discern and have the contents I need you to contact the Pokemon League. My equipment is malfunctioning a bit at the moment," she set Drifloon's Pokeball on the transporter and sent it over, "Her name is Mikani. She has a Dragonite and my Swablu was supposed to help her find you. Do keep an eye out for her to make that task easier for her."

Im flattered "He said with a faint smile but he wasn't really in a laughing mood "Alright Ill heard straight to the league once I find your courier"

Maple's eyes softened, "The poor girl doesn't deserve that especially where she just started but I just DON'T see HOW it is possible to happen Ren. When Pokemon belong to someone else, that is it, they can't be recaught unless they are released. Did she release her Larvitar?"

"Like hell she did! That pokemon was like the sibling she never had, they did everything together" Ren said "That's why I dont understand ti either they just snatched it and ran"

"That isn't right, I ran into some shady characters while doing research in Seasel Town. My Gyarados ran them off with Mikani's Dragonite but there is something shadowy at work. We just need to figure out what, I'll continue looking into this."

"I think i know what it is" Ren said grimly "I encountered a pokemon with a shadowy dark aura...your aware of SHadow pokemon aren't you? Pokenon that have had their souls removes so there nothing but tools...I ran into one that was a golem if there gone there's bound to be many more scattered throughout Terra"

"Ren that entire plan was washed down to NOTHING. Professor Krane of Orre saw every trace of research and remnants swept clean. He left no means for that research to be replicated. I don't deny that they existed but that is a dead strain of research."

"I saw it with my own eyes! it was a shadow pokemon! I have two busted ribs because of that thing! Whoever took up the research completed it, it survived because if there's ONE shadow pokemon there's bound to be plenty more" He said softly "Im telling you, if you trust me on anything its THIS" He pleaded with her softly.

"I can't pitch an idea like this to the Pokemon League, for one I'll be a laughingstock and for two it would laughably unbelievable. It isn't me you have to convince but I am not going to run to the League acclaiming this idea I saw on the news when I was a little girl, one I might add is acclaimed as DEAD research, without proof to say I am not insane. Get me the proof and I'll pitch it, that is the only way you survive in the scientific community. Ren, I love you but not enough to ruin myself."

Suddenly she seemed to realize she said a BIT too much, it was hard to say if she meant as a friend she did or as MORE than a friend but regardless she hung up the call.
