Kalyx - The Chibi Heroine

Kalyx’s Sneasel

Kalyx’s Sneasel was the second Pokemon she acquired in the Terra region, given to her by her mother the Azhure Point Gym Leader, Ibrixses. Sneasel originally posed a lot of problems for its starting trainer so much to where, at one point, Kalyx released Sneasel believing it could have a better trainer than her. At that point Sneasel gave Kalyx a second chance and she “officially” recaptured it making Sneasel her first capture. Sneasel is a highly aggressive Pokemon that LOVES to battle; its personality reveals an alpha personality – both blessing and flaw at times. In the absence of Kalyx’s Larvitar Sneasel has taken over the task of being her main battling Pokemon.

Kalyx’s Murkrow

Kalyx’s Murkrow was a Pokemon that Kalyx caught while lost in the Moss Forest. Kalyx desired to catch a Murkrow long before she actually saw this one because of her Father’s Honchkrow. Since it was captured Murkrow has been used occasionally for searches and rarely for battle.

Kalyx’s Houndour

Not much is known about Kalyx’s Houndour yet, though it is known that, similar to Murkrow, Kalyx desired one for quite some time before because of her Father’s Houndoom.

Elza's Eevee

Kalyx's Eevee, formerly known as Elza's Eevee, was a Pokemon temporarily put into her care while Elza departed to concentrate on her research. During the time he spent with Kalyx the Pokemon showed a desire to battle resulting in Kalyx starting to train it. Under her direction it learned a variety of moves that expanded its move pool beyond what repertoire of attacks it had under Elza. Many times Eevee has been shown to be a powerful battler but can be easily fatigued due to age and lack of battling while raised by Elza. Elza appears to have kept Eevee as a companion rather than a partner.

Kalyx’s Larvitar

Kalyx’s Larvitar was her starter Pokemon when she left Dusk City. He was born of her father’s Tyranitiar. Immediately after his hatching he and Kalyx exhibited great bonding as well as an underlying love for sugar and adventure. Larvitar agreed to travel with Kalyx on her Pokemon journey and they were inseparable since. For a time Larvitar struggled with proving himself in comparison to the MANY Pokemon that joined Kalyx thus far on her journey; becoming slightly competitive to recapture her attention. Along with Sneasel, Larvitar is one of Kalyx’s most used Pokemon. In the topic, Badges and Clues, Larvitar was snagged and stolen from Kalyx instantly putting her current journey on hold until he was found. Her persistence later paid off when Larvitar was returned to her, albeit as a Shadow Pokemon in (_). Kalyx is determined to get through to Shadow Larvitar and figure out how to bring their relationship as Pokemon and trainer back down to what it was. When Kalyx gave Larvitar sweets and food like Poffins, the Pokemon seemed to recall its personal tastes greatly pleasing Kalyx in the process.

Kalyx’s Spiritomb

Kalyx captured Spiritomb by mere luck at the beginning of her journey by employing the technique of allowing her Stunky to use Toxic and dodge most of the stronger Pokemon’s brutal attacks. The status ailment mixed with its subsequent damage ensured she was able to capture it. As of her journey so far Kalyx has never used or tried to use Spiritomb admitting that she can’t control it as a beginner yet. Spiritomb is under the care of Maple and Ren.
