Arrival into Darkness

The male walked along the road with a tiny girl trailing around behind him. Things had not been pleasant, the city was dark and gloomy, hardly an atmosphere he wanted to be in but he had a lucrative job he was being paid to do by a wealthy client who couldn't find the time to do it herself. She had left it to him as he was her legal solicitor. The place certainly LOOKED abandoned like there was no one to really help direct him in his way but since his target was a Gym Leader, he supposed the Gym would be a good place to start to look.

Reox was in his room lying in bed and staring blankly at the cieling; he hardly did anything these days, the whole amansion was a mess the pokemon were actualy trying to keep the place clean while Reox lay lonely heartbroken and depressed.

When he got there he left Calix at the Pokemon center the three year old hadn't said a WORD since she'd left Azhure Point and her mother. He smiled and then neared the mansion that was considered to be the "Gym"

He hoped it wasn't dangerous, it LOOKED dangerous.

The lawyer was greeted by Houndoom who bore its fangs at the door and let out a vicious snarl; re4ady to pounce if threatened.

"Whoa, down there........I am here for the Gym Leader," he looked around as if hopeful that someone came WITH Houndoom for him to talk to human to human but it didn't look like it, "I am a legal solicitor on behalf of a client, my client, from Azhure Point, Ibrixses is her name........"

No way he wanted to take another step further near Houndoom and no one was around.

Houndoom snarled a little longer until Ibrixses was mentions then it snarled MORE.

Suddenly Sable eye appeared out of nowhere and peeted Houn dooms shoudler and shook its head before silently gesturing the man inside, Houndoom snorted but went inside to rouse Reox.

Reox managed to get upa nd sove on a pair of jeans before he saw the solicitor "...WHat do you want? come ehre to try and settle the divorce again? I already told her the answer is no" Reox grumbeld a she shuffled to the fridge looking tired grunpy and just plain worn out; he had bags under his eyes, the early signs of is amnesia and he was a lot thinner than he should be.

"Divorce, no, relinquishment, yes. I am here to negotiate and see through the Relinquishment of custody."

It was debated just WHAT that meant, custody could mean over anything that was inherited like possessions and Reox didn't have the slightest idea he'd came close to fathering a child to gain custody over or else he'd might have TRIED to at least earlier. Reox had best ASK what was being relinquished before accepting or rejecting it at the very least.

Reox blinekd at that "...Custody? Of what?" He asked; As far as he knew Ibrixses left everythign she didn't want here in Dusk City when she left two years ago.

"A female child of three years, thirty six inches and twenty seven pounds. My client claimed you were the father and she was relinquishing custody over her to you, she said I would not be wasting the trip in coming here, that you would take the child in. Was she incorrect in that assumption?"

"...!" Reox dripped the can of soda he was holding and stared at the man frozen and wide eyed "...What?" He whispered softly "...A child? I dont remeber having a child with Ibrixses" He said befor ehe frowened "Three years..." He whispered softly and he thought about the timing, they HAD made love a few months before she left him... "I never knew...she never said i had a child"

Oh he was REALLY pissed off his doom aura had come out and the man could practicall feel it; he was angry that he;d neevr even been INFORMED he was a father.

"I am not paid to alert both parties, that lies solely between both parties to share on their own. I was only employed to escort the minor and oversee the legalties between both parties. You are actually pretty lucky, your wife is very lax, she left no strings attached and expresses full confidence you'll take and raise the child competently."

The man suddenly DID catch it and he went SILENT in his fear.

Reox's fist's clenched up tight and his musckles buldged in anger the pokemon seemed to sense it and backed away knowing that it was best to RUN when Reox was like this; and since Ibnnrioxsses had left he;d been like this a LOT.

"...Are you saying...i have no fuicking RIGHT to know I had a child" He snarled softly Before he punched the wall hard, his fist want right though the brick wall as though iut was paper "...Get out...bring the kid here" He snalred; if the man didnt run it would be his face he'd be hitting next.

The gentleman if he had NO SENSE would have answered him but self preservation dominated his mind and he pulled out with everything on his person: briefcase, forms, everything, he wasn't going to fight with THAT.

Reox waited until the man ran before he walked to his small personal gym and began beating the crap out of his punch bag becuase he couldnt beat the shit out of anything else.

Sudden;ly knowing he had a child was a HUGE shock; its not that he hated kids, quite the opposite, its the fact he never knew for three years that annoyed him so much; he had no idea what to say or do with the kid at all.

Honchkrow sat down on his shoulder, "Krow........."

It sensed its Master's displeasure, but it had been asleep for everything up until Reox decimated a wall, then it had awoke but the man was GONE.

Reox stoped punching the bag; his knuckles were split and bleeding becuase he hadn;t protected them first "I'm okay" her then..." He murmured softly befor ehe whistled for all his pokemon "Helpo me tidy up then make youserselves scarce" he said ebfore he headed to the spare bedroom that was next to his and began yanking off dust sheets.

Reox helped make the room tidy and sighed; it was clean but plain, he'd have to do somethign about that soon enough but first... "I need to get changed" He said befor ehe went back to his messy room he pulled opn a turtleneck and some boots.

The man smiled at the silent youth, "He has to be here around somewhere, he was very ANXIOUS," the man thought to himself more like RABID, "to see you...."

He looked around cautiously so as not to get attacked by SOMETHING or someone.

"You called "Reox said suddnly from BEHIND the man ans Reox stepoped out the shadows, probably scaring the life out of you, he ifgnored the man ans stred down at Calix...she looked nothing like hima nd everythign like her mother Reox smiled softly ebfore he knelt down a little "hey"

She darted back and then waved, she didn't have any bond with the guy so she was in a place where she had nowhere safe to dart away to, she didn't say a word.

The man chuckled NERVOUSLY, "Afraid she doesn't talk much, hasn't said a word the entire journey with me. Not a single word at all....."

"Your taking ehr from the only homes shes ever known for three years and dumpoing her with her father she;s never met, what else did you expect?" Reox asked the man with a raised eyebrow "I need to sign anything?" He asked; there was no doubt he'd look after the girl he helped make her after all "...Whats your name?" He asked; he wasnt asking the lawyer, ratehr the little girl.

The man went quiet at that, he hadn't been cruel but this had been ultimately business and yes he had done all that but with the consent of the mother.

Calix didn't say anything and just sat down, she didn't have anything in toys only a suitcase that the man had a hold of.

"Oh yes, the forms, you have somewhere where I can ready them again?"

The forms and HIM had taken off RUNNING after last time with Reox.

"Kitchen table" He said as he watched the little girl befor ehe let her be for now,. she didnt loiok like she;d get into trouble.
