"Stop it, stop it, stop it," she yelled as she squirmed and flailed trying to get free, it was hard to hold her down.

Maybe manners would work where frenzied demands hadn't but she was super desperate to get him to stop it.

"Thats better" He said as he stopped and he pet her hair "Will you go to sleep now?"

Maria went to get a snack she had not eaten all day she had been to busy traveling to stop and eat something she asked Spinarak and Nao. "Are you guys hungry?" Nao nodded ears twitching. "Vee Eevee!" Her little stomach growled.

"I really don't wanna.......," she frowned, she really didn't want to or couldn't sleep otherwise she'd have easily dropped off by now.

"Um......hmmmm, can I stay with you in here? So when I can sleep.......?"

There was no secret to it and she hadn't been lying. She wasn't ready to sleep quite yet but children like the familiarity and closeness of parents. Calix, being five, still hadn't discarded that want.

"Uh huh," she loved stories, sometimes Reox read them from books and sometimes he made them up but she thought highly of them.

Maria was getting a tad bored, Nao was pretty restless as she paced back and forth. "I am gonna call big brother.." She opened her Pokedex and called her home's number. "Hey big bro its Maria!" Her brothers face popped up on the screen he looked like Maria same black hair and red eyes but he had a beard he said smiling. "Hey kiddo how ya doin?" Maria said giggling. "I'm great big bro!" He frowns a bit as he realizes how late it is. "Good but what are you still doing up?" Maria pouts. "Don't start babying me big brother ya know I HATE it." He sighs. "Still as stubborn as ever I see..what am I gonna do with you?"

She beamed and snuggled close listening to him slowly relay the tale over to her. She'd heard it enough times to KNOW it most of the legends she knew about enough to recite but nevertheless she enjoyed hearing them over and over again. As usual though she fell asleep right during the telling of the stories. His voice and close presence was able to relax her even when sometimes she didn't want to. She had her way to his heart but Reox had his own methods of getting to her too just because of how close he was to her and she was Daddy's little girl.

Reox smield knowing that a story would send ehr off to sleep and he;d picked one of ehr favorites garunteed to make her drop off he cuddled her with a smile and let ehr sleep on him.

Calix snuggled against him and fell asleep securely. A few times in the night overnight she stirred but never woke up. Her tiny fists curled around his clothes her tiny breath expelling softly against him. It was this kind of bonding that had made it EASY for Reox to make an endearing and strong bond with Calix in only a couple years since gaining custody of her. It was hard to believe that Reox had her for only two years and had the quality of relationship with her he did.

Reox tended to spoil her sure but eh didn't let her get away with EVERYTHIGN even he had a few boundaries even if they were lax for Inrix liking. Reox kissed her forehead and tucked her in with e blankets; sleep was a long time coming for him so eh hummed softly and watched the sun rise.

Bad sleep habits where not something he passed to Calix nor did he want or try to often helping and assisting her in getting sleep every night. Finally the sun started peeking into the room and shone right near her eyes, which fumbled and struggled before she turned her head trying to hide from the light with a small murmur.

Reox smield at that and put the blankets over ehr head to blocke out the bnasty sunlight as he contineud to hum softly as his thoughts wandered to Ibrixses; he wondered if she was okay.

Maria had finished talking with her brother she could not sleep to many thoughts on her mind. Still blushing from her brother's constant teasing. Spinarak was still on her head all settled Nao was curled up asleep by her feet. Maria watched the sun slowly rise through a nearby window Maria always loved a sunset it was beautiful anywhere but it was even more beautiful in Dodge City.

Calix dozed off for a few more hours before she began to peek out and she did start to roze into her usual speedy recovery of energetic self that drove her into her activities for the day.

Reox was as usually always awake and he smiled when eh felt her stirr "Morning CHibi" He said with a s smile as he stroked her hair.

Maria stood up and cracked her neck despite not sleeping for more then two hours she felt energized and ready to take on the day. Nao woke up back to her normal happy and easygoing demeanor. "Morning Nao did ya sleep well..." She leaned down a patted her head. Nao nodded smiling. "Vee Eevee Vee!"

"What time is it?"

At first she hid from the sun while she waited for her eyes to wake up from being half asleep.
